WHAT IS TIE BOOKS?
TIE books are official school textbooks prepared by the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE). These are Government-approved learning books used in Tanzanian schools.
TIE books are the main textbooks students use in school to learn different subjects according to the national syllabus.
A “TIE book Standard Five” simply means a school textbook approved or published by TIE for Standard 5 (Grade 5) students. A TIE Standard Five book is an official government-approved textbook for Grade 5 students in Tanzania.
